Launched in 1995, Computech 2000 Computer Services owned by Brian King has been involved in the management and support of many versions of Microsoft's Windows Operating System from Windows 95 to the present and current versions of 10 and 11.
The company moved its office from Enfield to Cuffley Hertfordshire in 2016, but continues to provide computer and laptop support to all of its existing core and surrounding locations that include Enfield, Barnet, Potters Bar, Edgware, Borehamwood, Mill Hill, Southgate, Winchmore Hill, and Palmers Green.
Brian is an experienced I.T. Support Technician and possesses many internationally recognised certifications including Microsoft Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, Certifications to name but a few. Brian's I.T. experience has also been enriched whilst working for other organisations including, the Metropolitan Police Service, Haringey Council, N.H.S. Barnet College of FE and St Ignatius College, all of which have added a solid foundation on which has been built a computer support enterprise, that is based on a friendly approach, and good quality customer care.
The company supports Microsoft's Anti-Piracy Policy, by encouraging its customers to install only Genuine Windows Operating Systems. In doing so, we hope to help reduce the installation of poor quality or counterfeit Windows software, that can contribute to the spread of viruses, malware and cause computer malfunctions that can result in unnecessary and expensive repairs for users forced to employ technicians to rectify defects.
Membership of Microsoft's Partnership Business Scheme, also allows the company to liaise with both Microsoft and other partners on a range of IT related subjects, and be frequently updated on new and improved innovations in the IT industry. Membership also provides valuable links to Knowledgebase Resources, Training, regular Business Briefings, Workshops and quality advice from those focused at the centre of the IT industry, which can be used to improve and enhance the support provided to customers
Subject to existing commitments, the aim of the company is to supply a same day response to urgent calls for assistance, however, where this is not possible, due to existing or more urgent commitments, a next day response it virtually guaranteed. However, being a registered member of our Remote Support and Maintenance Service can provide a quicker response, especially where a problem is software related. Also, a range of other services are available including Virus and Malware Removal, Custom Windows installations, Bespoke Computers Built to Order, New Systems Setup, Repairs and Upgrades carried out on Desktop Computers and Laptops, Software, Hardware, Internet / Networking, Data Back Up / Recovery and a whole range of other IT Support Services.

Microsoft announced that it will no longer provide support for Windows XP / 7 / 8 and Windows 10 will shortly join the list of unsupported versions of the Windows Operating System. However, Brian will still continue to support users who wish to retain any of these versions of Windows, but pressure from the I.T. manufacturing industry in general, may well force many users to eventually upgrade to Windows11 in the near future. Whatever choice users make, Computech 2000 Computer Services will support them through the upgrade process and provide the necessary basic tuition normally required to master an unfamiliar version of Windows.
Although Microsoft previously announced that Windows 10 would be the final version of Windows to be produced, it looks very much as though Windows 11 is here to stay, and users wishing to take advantage of this major upgrade should contact Brian (Contact Us) to discuss whether their computers are suitable and capable of receiving the new version of Windows.
